The end of 2022 saw Spey Valet move premises, about 20m to the right. Now occupying unit 9/5 on the Achnagonalin Industrial Estate. 2022 also was the growth year for Ceramic Coatings, changing to a bran new company System X an American brand supported by the company Protecniq. Little did I know that this switch would lead me onto a massive growth and learning curve culminating in a name change, new products, new services and what is set to be a rather exciting 2023.
Step up to the plate Norris from Specialist Detailing Scotland, who would become my trainer, mentor and friend. Norris has been a specialist in paint protection film (PPF) for some years and informed me that a brand new product to the UK was coming very soon and that I should consider becoming trained. That product is UPPF. This film has been under development for some 27yrs and the results simply speak for themselves. Self healing, clarity, gloss, protection, colour change film too, offering unrivalled quality within the industry. I have to say at first it was daunting prospect but with a little convincing Norris lead me through several days of training, then guided me through my first install and has even trained my wife to the same level (if not better) than myself.
The name change from Spey Valet to JGS Specialist Detailing to JGS Detailing was a journey too, as Spey Valet is very dear to my heart but a new name was needed in order to create a new message of the services I now offer.
Fully accredited and certified installer for System X products and UPPF products is an accolade I am very proud off and it has happened very quickly indeed.
So social media is being transformed, new website and of course a whole new way of working is the way forward for JGS detailing, still the same great 5 star service, still in the same place (well 20m away) and still happy to advise on keeping your pride and joy looking its very best and with the new services looking its very best for much much longer.
